Blueberries

Our first crop of blueberries was planted in 2007 which gave us a small first harvest in 2009 and increasing volumes year on year.

As with all fresh produce, freshness is the key to the best taste and texture. Cobrey Farms berries are picked and cooled immediately to between zero and two degrees Celsius before being packed to customer specifications in our grade A pack-house.

To ensure the longest possible availability of fresh British blueberries for the discerning British public we plant a range of varieties in targeted locations which with precise control over crop inputs we are able to spread our blueberry harvest over a 5 month period from June-October.

The majority of the crop is destined for sale in supermarkets and wholesale markets, and we are expanding our local customer base.
