Our first crop of asparagus was planted in spring 2003, which gave its first full harvest in 2005. We have planted additional areas every year since then and have now grown to be one of the UK’s largest asparagus growers.

Through our high tech asparagus grading and packing facility we first wash and cool our asparagus immediately after harvest to lock in the freshness. Our computer controlled grading and packing lines then allow us to efficiently offer a highly consistent and beautifully presented end product to our customers.

Through the application science and innovation we are now able to supply premium British ‘Wye Valley’ asparagus from February until October. We also have availability of organic, white and purple asparagus.

The majority of the crop is destined for sale in supermarkets (Cobrey is sole supplier of M&S's UK asparagus) and wholesale markets, and we are expanding our local customer base.
